Arma2 DayZ: Absence
Absence Ace Server is developing new DayZ Mod called DayZ Absence. It's based on very known DayZ Epoch but include itself some strong names in Arma 2 modding community like A.C.E., ACRE, JSRS, modified Warcontext engine by Code34. The key is to produce a very difficult product to make players operate in groups to reach its goal or at least to survive. No one survives alone!
Features and changes since DayZ Epoch:
- Guarded contaminated areas (needs Gas Mask to safely move around)
- Build interaction system (A.C.E. implemented)
- New Weapons
- Modified Trading System allowing to trade weapons between vendors
- Patrols with armed vehicles on map
- New Humanity System
- New +100 hard missions, each with own reward.
Types of missions and its reward:
Eliminate - +1000 humanity;
Capture - +2000 humanity / -2000 humanity (to each player in radius 150 meters from target);
Heal - +2000 humanity / -2000 humanity(to each player in radius 200 meters from target);
Bring vehicle - +5000 humanity and vehicle itself after success / -5000 humanity if vehicle destroyed (to each player in radius 400 meters from target);
Escort - +2000 humanity / -2000 humanity (to each player in radius 400 meters from target);
Destroy vehicle - +1000 humanity (to each player in radius 300 meters from target);
Liberate hostage - +2000 humanity / -2000 humanity (to each player in radius 100 meters from target);
Record a conversation - +7000 humanity / -7000 humanity (to each player in radius 400 meters from target);
Steal/Rob vehicle - vehicle itself;
Defend location - +4000 humanity / -4000 humanity (to each player in radius 200 meters from target);
Secure zone - +3000 humanity (to each player in radius 400 meters from target);
Rescue 10 civilians - +1000 humanity each / -1000 humanity each (to each player in radius 200 meters from target);
Sabotage - +3000 humanity / -3000 humanity (to each player in radius 100 meters from target);
Destroy group - +1000 humanity each;
- Two Hero vendors with different weapons and vehicles and more decreased prices:
Hero vendor unlocks if player has a 50k humanity;
Hero Cooper's shop unlocks if player has 150k humanity;
